Ok so today I am really pissed off. Being what I thought was an conscientious consumer of healthy vegetables, I buy steamed frozen vegetables for all my family dinners. This is progress for me, as I was raised on canned vegetables which I always thought lacked flavor. Then I switched awhile back to frozen vegetables believing they were harvested at the peak of their freshness and flash frozen for later consumption. I keep myself informed on the newest health trends and I use my own common sense to decide what is best for my family. Just like most busy families, convenience is also a factor in meal preparation. I was raised as dinner being a protein, a starch and a vegetable. I have continued this with my own family expanding on recipes and meals my own mother made for us. Which brings me to my reason for being so pissed. Two nights ago I was preparing the family dinner and I had served myself last. So I pour the remaining vegetables onto my plate and what do I discover?? A beheaded, legless stink bug in my vegetables. So I contacted the company and their response, " We will be sending you some coupons, please give them 7-10 days to reach you." Then they instructed me to send the pictures I took and provided me with a case number.
Do they actually think that I am EVER going to purchase their vegetables again? Do they actually think giving me coupons gives me piece of mind or makes me feel better knowing that my children probably ate the other body parts or may have even ate other bugs??
Has anybody else had this issue and if so what became of it? Should I pursue legal action?
