Portuguese Roasted Pork Loin | Lombo de Porco Assado à Portuguesa

Pelos vistos já fiz uns quantos assados de porco no SundayCook, mas creio que este é o mais típico e dos mais simples também. Segui esta receita: |
Ingredients | Ingredientes:
- 2 kg pork loin | - 2 kg de lombo de porco
- 1 kg small potatoes | - 1 kg de batatas pequenas
- 8 garlic cloves | - 8 dentes de alho
- 1 bay leaf | - 1 folha de louro
- 2 dl of white wine | - 2 dl de vinho branco
- sweet red pepper sauce (to taste) | - massa de pimentão (a gosto)
- salt and black pepper (to taste)| - sal e pimenta preta (a gosto)
- olive oil (to taste) | - azeite (a gosto)
1 - Season the pork loin with salt, sweet red pepper, smashed garlic (with peel), bay leaf and white wine. Let this marinate for approximately 12 hours. |
1 - temperar o lombo de porco com sal, massa de pimentão, alho esmagado (com pele), folha de louro e vinho branco. Deixar marianar por cerca de 12 horas. |
3 - Preheat the oven to 180ºC. |
3 - Pré-aquecer o forno a 180ºC. |
5 - Drizzle the pork loin and potatoes with the marinade and olive oil. Season with black pepper and put it in the oven about 2h. |
5 - Regar o lombo de porco e as batatas com a marinada e um pouco de azeite. Temperar com pimenta preta e levar ao forno por 2h. |
6 - Sprinkle from time to time with the released juices. |
6 - Regar de vez em quando com os sumos libertados. |
7 - Meanwhile...prepare, wash and boil the greens. I used turnip greens, which are frequent at this time of the year. |
7 - Entretanto...escolher, lavar e cozer a verdura. Usei nabiças, que são frequentes nesta altura do ano. |
8 - Remove from the oven and serve with the turnip greens and a good red wine: WinExperience - Sossego Tinto by @rmach. |

What is Sunday Cook?!
This Sunday Cook project began with a strong will to contribute to Steemit with my personal view of Portuguese cuisine. I really believe we have plenty of good food. Despite I'm not a professional or nothing similar, I can assure that I'm doing my best, and hopefully, I'm improving my skills too!
On Sundays (cold Sundays), I like to prepare more elaborate and delicious food. It requires time and patience. Usually, I cook some traditional Portuguese food, or at least with Portuguese inspiration :) I try to do it in a healthier way, using the minimum fat as possible, and normally I pick some recipe and transform it. During the week I don't like to spend much time cooking (no time at all), that's why I get totally motivated to cook on Sundays!!

O que é o Sunday Cook?!
Este projeto iniciou-se com uma grande vontade de contribuir para o Steemit com a minha visão pessoal da cozinha Portuguesa. Eu considero que temos excelentes pratos. Apesar de não ser profissional nem nada que o valha, garanto que tenho feito o meu melhor, e espero estar a melhorar os meus dotes culinários!
Nos Domingos (quando está frio), gosto de preparar comida mais elaborada. Requer tempo e paciência. Normalmente, cozinho pratos da cozinha tradicional Portuguesa, ou pelo menos inspirados na mesma. Tento cozinhá-los de uma forma saudável, usando o mínimo de gordura possível e normalmente pego numa receita e adapto ao meu gosto. Durante a semana não gosto de perder tempo a cozinhar (nada mesmo), e é por isso que me sinto motivada a cozinhar nos Domingos!!

Quando costumava comer carne, nunca gostei muito de porco. Mas esse tem um otimo aspecto. :) ja viste que o Dtube esta on fire. Va. Toca a comecar a fazer uma versao video tambem. :) eheheheeh

Obrigada pela dica. Gostava de poder explorar e testar essa alternativa, mas não me vejo mesmo a fazer de Filipa Vacondeus. Além do mais sei que teria de editar o vídeo e isso iria demorar-me tempo (a aprender e fazer). Vou pensar noutra forma de aproveitar essa onda do Dtube ;)
