Yogurt and Goat Cheese Topped Belgian Waffles Food Porn

Ah, Sam's Club. It's even awesome in Mexico as we have found recently with our new memberships. They've got cases of waffles there for 179 pesos a box.....so good. So this is what I did with them: made a yogurt goat cheese dressing and topped with fresh berries and maple syrup. So divine.

I'd love to know more about Sam's Club. Is there anything for which it''s NOT the best value option there (fresh food from the central market I guess)? It's a shame Acapulco lost its Costco.

I've little experience with Sam's Club and less with cosco. But I like Sam's Club so far. We got the membership so I could get a new laptop and just about everything we've purchased (save for the breakfast sausage...which was fed to dogs and made them all digestively upset) has been worth it.

Apparently US Costco membership is valid in Mexico (& vice versa) so I was quite excited until I found out they had closed permanently in Aca. Haven't googled to find out if the same deal applies to Sam's but I suspect it might make a good one-stop shop to furnish a house!

It does apply from my understanding, but it's just 500 pesos and you get two memberships out of it. Not bad.

Well, that motivated me to investigate! Apparently membership works anywhere in the world in-store but only online in the country where you sign up. Nice!

Interesting, good to know!

I can taste the crunch of the waffle and the sweetness of the banana and strawberries already! That and a good cup of coffee with that view must be awesome to wake up to each morning. Thanks!

Looks yummy (except for the banana's, ew...)

The photography is as nice as the food. I love the waffles sitting on the ledge overlooking the ocean front.

It's a view I love....that's for sure.

wow yummy

I don't even know if I like goat cheese, but I want to eat that! o.O

Goat cheese is quickly becoming my favorite. I used a sweet honey and nut kind for this and it was super tasty. Like a drier cream cheese without the upset tummy I get from cream cheese.

I'm to the point where I'm going to attempt to make a cheesecake with goat cheese to see what that's like....sounds good to me :D

Looks amazing!

Good job on the DOF in these photos. I had to scan the photos quickly as I was gaining weight. ;)
