Eating at Vapiano with the crew @mrs.steemit @sirwinchester @soldier @agent

We couldn´t wait for dinner after a very long and successful day of work. It was already 9 pm so we had to decide quickly, as there wasn't many restaurants open at the time. We chose to visit Vapiano- a German restaurant franchise company headquartered in Bonn. Vapiano was established in 2002 our hometown Hamburg. For many years, the company was among the fastest-growing players in the industry. In April 2017, it totaled 180 locations in 31 countries, including Australia- so to say on the other side of the world. It was the first time to visit Vapiano in another country. Ever since then, Vapiano turned into my go to restaurant for every mood and occasion.

The Vapiano we visited is located right in the heart of the city amongst Hamburg´s famous laneways and shopping district. The Restaurant has separate bar areas, outdoor seats and cool decor - smart, yet casual. The cozy and relaxing atmosphere filled with warm lightning, cool furniture and fresh features such as an olive tree and herb garden growing in the restaurant makes Vapiano perfect for dinner and drinks. The cool thing about Vapiano is that you´ll be given a card that records all the food and drinks you order from the bar or the open kitchen and then you just pay on the way out.

Vapiano serves delicious made-to order pizzas, house-made pasta and hand-tossed gourmet salads. So what did we eat?

@soldier chose the simple Carbonara with bacon and onions in a creamy sauce. It's surprising not too creamy or cheesy and has just the right amount of flavor. Generous portions of bacon make it even better!

Ravioli con Carne: Ravioli with a filling of beef in tomato sauce.

I got the Gamberetti e spinaci: Shrimp, basil pesto, refined with cream and grana padano, baby spinach and cherry tomatoes. That is by far my absolute favourite pasta!

You also never go wrong with a fresh and appetizing salad. This one has a special combination. It is a strawberry spinach salad: Baby leaf spinach and strawberries with goat's cheese, red onions and pine nuts.

Vapiano is one of my favorite places in the city. It is quite spacious and the price is extremely reasonable. It is a great place to come to with just about anyone. The warm and modern ambiance make everyone feel more comfortable.
