Ingredients for a casserole per person
2 eggs, 50 ml of homemade tomato sauce, 60 ml of milk, 3 tablespoons of grated ripe cheddar cheese, 2 tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese, ½ teaspoon of olive oil to brush the casserole, salt, pepper, fresh basil .
We will start by preheating our oven to 200 degrees with heat up and down. With the olive oil we paint a refractory casserole well. We will multiply the base ingredients according to the number of casseroles that we want to prepare or number of diners.
At the base of the casserole, toss the homemade tomato sauce, crack the two eggs, salt and sprinkle with freshly ground pepper. On top we add the milk, the tablespoons of ripe cheddar cheese and finally the Parmesan cheese.
We bake for ten minutes watching that the cheese crust on the surface does not burn. Remove from the oven and serve hot with a few fresh basil leaves on top.
