Ultimate Chickpea ‘Tuna’ and Onion- VEGAN 🌱

Hey Steemers! Just a quick one today to share a variation of my Chickpea Tuna recipe I just tried as I think it’s even better than the last one I posted 👌🏻

I love red onions, and this recipe is just perfect with them in the mix- tastes so much like the real thing you’ll be shocked!

1️⃣ Drain one tin of chickpeas and add to your mixer with the juice of half a lemon, 1 chopped red onion, 4 tablespoons of vegan mayo, salt, pepper and 2 tablespoons of crumbled nori sheets.

2️⃣ Blend, stopping intermittently to scrape down the sides of the blender and stir. Don’t over blend to get a more flaky texture.

3️⃣ Add more mayo or nori to taste.

4️⃣ Serve on a baked potato or in a sandwich or salad!

Oh my- I think Ive found my perfect tuna substitute! No fishies required ❌🐟
