Spaghetti Carbonara - Polish Style.

in food •  7 years ago  (edited)

Today I would like to present you my interpretation of Spaghetti Carbonara.

At first i must say few words: it isn't a traditional recipe for Italian carbonara. I use here few components that are not allowed in original recipe. If you use it in Carbonara any Italian guy would laugh at you and call you an idiot. But who cares if it's delisious. It's polish style, because i'm from Poland as can u quess :)

What do you need?

- 2 eggs,

- 2 medium onions,

- 300g of bacon,

- 350g of pasta (i'm useing here penne, because i don't like spaghetti - you can use any kind you want),

- 2 garlic glove, - fresh parsley,

- 200g of Pecorino cheese (Parmesan or Grana Padano - you can also use normal Gouda if you have it),

- 200 ml of sour cream (30%),

- salt and papper.

Allright lets start, you need about 20 min to prepare this meal. I will write the instructions in the points.

1. Cut up bacon and onion into small cubes.

2. Put it into pan add dram of salt and fry it for 10 min on the middle power.

3. Pour some water into pon and add a spoon of salt. When it starts to boil add your pasta. Make it 'al dente' style (almost ready).

4. Meanwhile put your eggs into a cup and pour hot water into to blanch it.

5. Find a bowl and add into it: squeezed garlic, eggs, sour cream, grated cheese and dram of salt, papper.

6. Strain the pasta and add into bacon at pan then add your mixture from bowl. Fry it for 5 min,

7. It's done !

The mixture should looks like:

The final meal:

I promie you it's delicious and satiating. I hope you'll prepare it at home and enjoy it.
