Hello, fellow Steemians! It is a Saturday night and I am feeling ALRIGHT!...thanks to my open schedule. I have renamed my wine review series on Steemit to reflect the goal I wish to achieve by December 31, 2017.

The First 100 is my commitment to detecting and studying the aftermath of a homicide...on a viticultural nature.

Yes, I have killed...many, many bottles of wine. By the way, when I mentioned this wine review series to my friends, immediately they came to the conclusion that I would attempt to consume 100 wines in 48 hours (The First 48).

If only my liver would accept the challenge!!!

To my ignorance, I rarely felt like sharing my wine orgasm with my peers who also have wine tasting reviews, stories, and notes...having the same, if not better, orgasmic experience.

The countdown started when I looked at this wine on the shelf at Randall's. Chateau St. Jean is a wine I have not had in years!!! Known for its subtle nuances and silky texture, Chateau St. Jean is drinkable for sure. I logged onto Vivino and this was my 16th wine review.

I ventured into the "Chateau" and opened up a bottle Sauvignon Blanc. I punctured the bottle sleeve, cutting away like a ravenous fiend. The corkscrew went in like butter as I pulled at its core. Finally! To my success, a splatter of the sauvignon blanc drizzled onto my left forearm. The lush from within couldn't help but lick the droplets of spiked grape juice that had escaped to my elbow.

I took a bite of some creamy bleu cheese with a graham cracker...YES, a graham cracker!

At first, I smelled my poured wine. I wasn't too keen about the citrus and metal that hit my nose. Then, I slowly sipped this 2015 Sauvignon Blanc.
OMG! Send the detectives to come find me because I just died!!!

O', how I love that grimy green apple taste in sauvignon blanc. Phew!!

Also, there was a herbaceous, floral presence in the after taste. A wonderful blend of acidic goodness once you wrap it all together. Easily paired with calamari, a Greek salad, or pasta primavera.

What is your fatality bottle count???
