Today I felt like having apples heated as a side dish with my dinner. It is quick and easy to put together. All you need is a couple of apples, cinnamon, nutmeg and some water. I used one macintosh and one macoun apple but you can use any kind you want.
I start out using an apple slicer.
Then cut up the apple slices into smaller pieces.
Add the cinnamon, nutmeg and some water.
This is what it looks like after heating up in the microwave for about 10 minutes.
Stir the apples and the water turns into a nice syrup. Serve warm with your meal.
You can also try it as a topping on your favorite ice cream. Enjoy!

Just pears, some cinnamon and a little bit of plain white sugar (wish I had some molasses tho')! :)
The pears were a little weird, kinda tart, so the 'jam' came out like that too, but I didn't mind it!
