Sate Apaleh Tersohor Seantero Aceh, Apa Rahasianya?

LHOKSEUMAWE, KOMPAS.com – Belasan mobil berjejer di depan warung di lintas Medan-Banda Aceh, Desa Geurugok, Kecamatan Gandapura, Kabupaten Bireuen, Aceh. Letaknya persis di pasar ibu kota kecamatan tersebut.
Di situ, sejumlah pejabat dari berbagai daerah berkumpul. Sekadar singgah sejenak, menikmati Sate Apaleh yang tersohor itu. Sate daging sapi dan kambing ini dikenal seantero Aceh. Tidak kalah populer dengan Sate Matang yang tersohor itu.
Bagi pengunjung yang menuju Medan atau Banda Aceh menggunakan lintas Sumatera, rasanya tidak afdol, jika tak singgah menikmati sate itu.
