This is very famous in south India.More people eat with rice, dosa or idli.
INGREDIENTS:
Rahar dal(tur dal): 1 cup
Tamarind: 10 grams soaked
urad dal: 1/2 tbsp
Onions: chopped1
Ladyfinger:2
Green Mirchi:2
Brinjal:1
Tomatoes: 2
Turmeric powder:1/2 tbsp
Red Chilli powder:2 tbsp
Salt: As per Taste
Oil: To fry
Coriander leaves: small pinch
Jeera:1/2 tbsp
Garlic:2 cloves
Drumstick:1
INSTRUCTIONS:
First, take Rahar dal( tur dal) boiled in a pressure cooker.Now.mash the dal.
Now take a bowl and pour water and tamarind soak them in 10 minutes.
Now chopped vegetable ladyfinger, brinjal, tomatoes pour into the dal mash. now add tamarind juice.and boil in 15 minutes.and also add red chili powder, turmeric powder and add salt as per taste.
Now take a pan and pour oil to heat it. now add sliced onions and jeera and sukha Mirchi, garlic and coriander leaves and pour into the sambhar.
Now ready for sambhar. to serve with rice.
