One of my favorite fruits and most of Venezuelans, are strawberries, is one of the most romantic, colorful, juicy and versatile fruits that we can enjoy, ideal for the preparation of juices and desserts, but also very striking when using them in the kitchen,in this article I will tell you ten curiosities about this delicious fruit that maybe you did not know

  1. They are one of the fruits that contain more vitamin C, vitamin E and carotenes (Antoxidants of the body).

  2. They contain xylitol which fights cavities and contributes to the health of your teeth.

  3. They help eliminate excess uric acid and high blood pressure, according to Linnaeus, a Swedish botanist.

  4. The fruits that first ripen in the spring are strawberries.

  5. One strawberry has around 200 seeds.

  6. There are different types of strawberries: wild strawberry, scarlet strawberry, beach strawberry and the European strawberry that originated strawberries.

  7. A handful of strawberries only has 25 calories.

  8. Strawberry plants belong to the family of roses.
