Lunch, wonderful lunch at the Blos

My sister invited us for lunch at the Blos last Thursday. The Blos is a lovely conference and wedding venue in Pretoria east, South Africa.
The venue used to host Die Werf restaurant where my sister got married 20 years ago but since has changed names.

At our arrival I was surprised to see that the restaurant plants and grows its own vegetables organically. Above some spinach and green onions can be seen growing in wooden boxes just outside the front door of the restaurant.

There is a whole variety of different vegetables and salads. It seems as if they grow very well under the trees letting through just enough sun light for the plants to flourish.

I Hope the chef knows what is what as there was no labeling.

I also found this light chandelier very interesting as it is a mishmash of tubes and lights.
We had a wonderful lunch with great service and tasteful food and drinks. I would really recommend the Blos at any time.
