You really need to be honest with yourself.
Today blog in one way is a continuation of my last one which you can find here.

I hope that your relationship with food does not look like the one on the picture above, however if this is your life you should be able to end this destructive pattern. As I mentioned before most of the unhealthy eating habit have roots in the childhood so it is important to leave childhood eating in childhood. In order to effectively deal with overeating it is essential to establish what kind of 'overeater' you are.
Maris Peer in her book distinguish 6 types of overeaters:

  • Addictive eaters
  • Emotional eater
  • Habitual eater
  • Ignorant eater
  • Destructive eater
  • Angry eater

The most useful part of the book is the easy to do tests - collect the score - which tells you what kind of eater you are and the most importantly you will be able to implement changing negative eating pattern with something positive and healthy. I know I am repeating myself however you need to be part of the solution not part of the problem.
I personally like to read the stories of people who were experiencing some of the eating problems and they were able to fix them with professional help from Marisa. For me reading her book was enough to fix my eating pattern and start enjoying my relationship with food and be happy with it.
I strongly believe that with help of this book you can be able to overtake your eating habits. I am far from claiming any generalizations because everyone are different and this can be kind of beauty and the beast of humanhood and everyone will have different way of dealing with issues however Marisa's Peer book 'You can be thin' give a great hope for overtaking the negative habits by healing the wound form the past.

All the best and be Bless
