Moreton Bay hinterland. Capsicum, raspberry, strawberry, blackberry, wineries - red and white, sugar-cane, pineapple, macadamia nut, plus a number of small crops, bananas just north in Nambour, and ginger, and peas and runner-beans, and if you like exotic meats there's an Emu farm. 😊 I've not yet been to South America but Venezuela was always on my list. The Carribean coast, Port of Spain, Trinidad and islands Margarita and Tobago, also to the west and the gulf of Venezuela, Sinamaica, Altagracid, Capatarida and Coro, and Maracaibo, but cities aren't my scene. I realize Trinidad and Tobago aren't Venezuela, but unless I came south from the Leeward or Windward Islands, I'd have to go via Caracas and Barcelona and Cumana. It shalln't be soon though, as age and income have slowed me somewhat. But one never knows, I didn't know ten years ago I'd drive overseas to Bribie Island on a road bridge joining the small sand island to the large island continent of Australia. I spent quite a bit of time in the tropics of north Australia, and am quite happy to have come south to 26° latitude which is equivalent, I guess, of Sao Francisco or Paranguá on coast of Brazil south of Rio De Janeiro. Nearly 4000km or more from Caracas, which is from here to Perth, WA, by road, although I doubt if there is a road across the Amazon basin in a line with Manaus. Can you tell me what grows at Esmeralda, about 03°North lat. I think the river is the Orinoco¿ I'll have to get a more detailed map, but it looks very like its between mountain ranges¿ Hot? Wet? ¿
