Hungry Steemians starting pouring into the diner after I announced today was omelet day! Marx the rabbit loves omelets and I was hungry for a nice fat one filled with bacon, sausage, tomatoes, and chives. Yumm... Word spread that my Steemit Special Omelets were available and customers came in one by one to order my delicious food.

My good friend @artedellavita stopped by to share some beautiful pictures and have a meal at the diner. If you haven't met artedellavita she is a wonderful cook and photographer. I had a great time catching up with @artedellavita and loved the photos she showed me of her beautiful food. The dinner rush came is as she was leaving and I had to rush to get another set of omelets on the stove to feed all my friends.

Recipe For @marxrab's Omelets

Step 1: Fry you up some bacon and sausage. I do them in separate pans so I keep the bacon grease nice and free of other flavors. Once both are cooked to your liking take your bacon pan and remove all but a teaspoon of grease.

Step 2: Crack 3 eggs into a bowl and whisk them until they are bubbly on top. Add just a splash of milk and whisk until mixed.

Step 3: Heat your bacon grease pan on medium-high. Don't let the pan get too hot or it will overcook one side of the eggs before they cook all the way through.

Step 4: Once the pan is hot pour your eggs into the pan. While the egg is still wet sprinkle your bacon and sausage into the egg. You can add any other toppings you enjoy. I add tomatoes and chives. Mushrooms, ham, and cheese are also delicious in an omelet.

Step 5: Because I cook it on low, the egg cooks all the way through without me having to flip it. Wait until you omelet is fully cooked and then fold the sides over like a burrito. Plate and then eat. If you are worried the top isn't cooked you can always flip it over. You might need two spatulas since an omelet is big and can easily break.
