I hope this is not a platform to be used by people posting half thought out “research” and negligible advice while getting an audience that’s not fact checking what they read.

Vinegar is not used in ANY Chinese “rice making” (does one make rice or cook rice?), if there you were ever served vinegar rice by a Chinese, it was either in a Chinese owned restaurant that caters to the localis taste or it just didn’t happen.
