A Recipe for Papdi Chaat (Indian Food)

Authentic, tangy, warm and sweet flavors combine to eat a water or to eat as a snack or a great alternative to make Petal Chaat delicious. Also known as Poppy Chat or Papiri Chat, it is a popular fast food in North India, Bangladesh and Pakistan. "Papyr" refers to the germs, and the word "chat" is used for several breakfast and fast food meals. In Hindi, "chat" means "lick"

How to Make It

  1. Mix the flour, ghee, onion seeds and salt and mix it well. Add only a little water at a time and powders to get a firm, smooth dough. Cover it with a damp cloth and allow it to rest for 20 minutes.

  2. After half-rest, half-ball in your handle until it smooths to divide it into equal-sized balls
