PANIPURI...

in food •  6 years ago

Panipuri is a common street snack in several regions of the Indian subcontinent.

It consists of a round, hollow puri, fried crisp and filled with a mixture of flavored water (commonly known as imli pani), tamarind chutney, chili, chaat masala, potato, onion or chickpeas.

Modern chefs, eager to take their culinary expertise to the next level, have come up with interesting variations to the Gol Gappa like the Cucumber Pani Puri.
A lip smacking, chatpata snack and a favourite of most food lovers, the cucumber Pani Puri uses cucumber juice to fill up the puris.
