🎉 Happy New Year's Eve Steemit Friends! 🎆

Need a last minute New Year's Eve cocktail recipe? If so, you'll want to give this super easy Pomegranate Ginger Champagne Cocktail a try!

Before we begin to make our cocktail, you'll need a few items...

Since this is a champagne cocktail, you'll need an inexpensive bottle of extra dry champagne or sparkling wine. Non-drinkers can give this drink a try with sparkling cider or ginger ale.

You'll also need champagne stemware, like a flute or coupe.

This cocktail also calls for pomegranate juice (bottled) and juice from fresh ginger root. So, add those to your ingredients list too!

The arils (or seeds) of a pomegranate are sweet, tart and beautifully delicious. I'll use them as a yummy garnish for this drink along with simple syrup and superfine sugar.

If you don't have all of this on hand at home, don't sweat it! You can get by without the glitzy garnishes.

To dress up my champagne flute, I'm going to rim the edge of the glass with pomegranate simple syrup and superfine sugar.

1. Start by gently dipping the rim of your glass into a small bowl of simple syrup and then into a bowl of superfine sugar.

2. Next, drop a handful of pomegranate arils into the bottom of your glass.

3. Now, here's the fun part! Pop open that bottle and fill your glass with some yummy bubbly. 🍾 I'm a bit naughty and like to over-pour. 😜

4. Add two tablespoons of pomegranate juice.

5. Follow up with one teaspoon of fresh ginger juice.

And voilà! You just made a festive and fancy cocktail that's sure to be a big hit!
