Salutations Steemit Friends!

Happy Humpy Day! Would you like to add a lil' extra spice to your palette? If so, you'll enjoy this fresh juice recipe that I'm going to share with you today!

I'm a sucker for fruity juices, but this week I wanted to experiment and try something new. After all, variety is the spice of life, no? Hehe...

I have to say I'm actually quite pleased with the results...

Meet my sweet 'n spicy Carrot Bell Pepper Juice!

Health Benefits

Carrots

Carrots (and carats) are a girl's best friend. They'll do your body right with a turbo boost of vitamins A & C. Also, the beta-carotene and lutein found in carrots are known to give your eyes and skin more sparkle and glow! Sweeettt!

Sweet Peppers

Sweet peppers (a.k.a. bell peppers) are very high in vitamin C. Other goodies include vitamins K1, B6, B9 (folate), E and A (beta-carotene) as well as the hydration regulating mineral potassium.

Also packed into peppers are the healthy antioxidants capsanthin, violaxanthin, lutein, quercetin and luteolin.

Parsley

Parsley has excellent anti-inflammatory (anti-swelling) effects thanks to an oil called eugenol. Its juice helps to flush out the kidneys, which is beneficial after a long evening of tippling.

If you're a garlic lover like me, then you'll appreciate the high chlorophyll content of parsley as it acts as a bad breath neutralizer. So, rest assured that you'll breathe easy with this freshmaker!

Ginger

The bioactive substance in fresh ginger root, gingerol can help lower the risk of infections. Like parsley, ginger is an effective anti-inflammatory. It can help to reduce nausea and aid digestion. Good things!

Cayenne Pepper

A little bit of this spice can pack a powerful punch! Cayenne pepper also fights inflammation and helps to support healthy digestion and blood circulation. It's also a metabolism and immune system booster.
