Hello my friends, I wanted to spoil my children with something sweet for this day and prepare these delicious cookies that are easy to prepare and super rich.

The semolina cookies are neutral, they are very good to be accompanied with any dessert or appetizer, in my family my children like to eat them with coffee and a little milk, they are excellent to take to any meeting and eat with any type of sauce.

The ingredients that are needed to make these biscuits are:

  • 20 g of pressed yeast.
  • 1 kg of wheat flour.
  • 20 g of salt.
  • 100 g of Semolin.
  • 450 ml of water.
  • 100 cc of Milk.
  • 100 g of Margarine.
  • 1 teaspoon of malt extract

Very well we begin to prepare these cookies, the first thing we must do is place on the work table the 20 g of salt, wheat flour and 100 g of semolin and proceed to form a mixture with them.

After having mixed the mentioned ingredients, we made a crown and placed in the center of it the 450 ml of water at room temperature, the 100 g of margarine and the malt extract.

We must unite very well the core ingredients of the crown, especially the margarine, little by little to knead the wheat flour with the other ingredients until a dough is formed, if you notice that the dough does not have a solid enough consistency you can add a little more Of flour. They know if the dough is good because it is removed from the hands and the bowl.

Once prepared the dough we proceed to place it in a glass bowl and wrap it with plastic, then take it to the fridge for 30 minutes.

After past 30 min, we take the dough out of the fridge and knead it, usually recommend doing it with a machine for pasta or with a sobadora but I give them a better option using a stick to knead, it should be kneaded very well mass to eliminate air bubbles and lumps if it contains them.

Then we stretch the dough very well on the work table, we must leave the dough a thickness of about half a centimeter, then with a round cookie cutter of 10 cm we proceed to make the cuts of the cookies in the dough, after that the place in a plate in-mantecada and floured, we puncture them with a fork and let them rest for 15 min.

To finish we take them to the oven previously heated to about 160 ° C, cook for about 40 min or until the cookies are golden, it is normal to remove the cookies are a little soft, just let them cool or stand for 20 minutes and she hardens .

Then just prepare a rich sauce or a good coffee to enjoy these delicious cookies.
