HELLO GUYS! Welcome back, and today's post is going to be a very versatile recipe, because you can accompany them with your fill or topping of your preference can be sweet or salty, and they are SOOO easy to prepare, so let's start.
Ingredients:
1 and 1/2 cup of oatmeal
2 eggs
1/2 cup of milk
2 tablespoon of melted butter
1/4 cup of sugar
1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
1/4 teaspoon of salt
Butter for the pan
The first that you need to do is put all dry ingredients (oatmeal, sugar, salt, baking powder) in a bowl and mix them together and the same with the liquid ingredients (eggs, milk, melted butter).
When you get a uniform mixture you have to mix the liquid ingredients with the dry ingredients, don't mix them too much, just until you a homogeneous mixture.
Now it's time to heat a pan to a medium temperature, and when is hot, apply one teaspoon of butter so that the pancake doesn't stick. Now with a ladle you have to take some mixture and put it into the pan, you have to wait about 90 seconds for each side and then flip them. And that's it.
Now I am going to tell you some secrets to get a super tasty oat pancake:
For sweet:
*Add to the base mixture 2 crushed banana and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon.
*Add some blueberries a little crushed or entire blueberries on top and some honey.
*Add some honey on the top of a pancakes tower and some banana slices.
For salty:
*Fill them with a mixture of ricotta and ground spinach.
*Fill with cheese cream.
*Eat them like an American breakfast, with bacon and scrambled eggs.
This recipe is for about 7 pancakes. When you eat them they are not as fluffy as a normal pancake but they are super humid inside.
This is my favorite way to eat them, I love the acid flavor of the blueberries and sweetness of honey, combinated to the soft pancake, it just AMAZING!
