Peanut butter and jelly. Toast and eggs. Some foods just go well together. In a quaint little dive bar in Des Moines, Iowa, you can add pizza and crab rangoons to that list.
Fong's pizza is known for its innovative drinks, fighter pilot helmets and incredible pizza. Our family's favorite - and certainly most popular overall - is the crab rangoon pizza.
The star of the show combines a thin, crispy crust with impossibly good toppings. Cheese that reminds you of Rangoon filling, wonton strips, fresh veggies, crab and the best sweet chili sauce drizzle that I've ever tasted. We've tried recreating it at home, but have been unsuccessful in getting it just right.
If I ever need a fun night out with Mrs. NEPD, I know Fong's will always turn out well. If you're ever in Des Moines, you certainly should give it a try.

OK, I'm hungry now. Does Fong's deliver to Vancouver Island?

The wonton strips on pizza has me intrigued. I've never tried seafood on pizza before but I love seafood. Sounds interesting. Where I live people are pretty traditional with their pizza. No fun or different flavors.
