A foreigner reviews Chinese delivery food in Shanghai! 歪果仁评论中国的外卖！

Food delivery apps an China are amazing. Cheap, quick, convenient, and sometimes tasty too! I'm use Ele.me, one of the largest food delivery apps in China. The name, Ele.me, literally translates to, "Hungry?". More popular  (not to mention much more expensive) with foreigners are the food delivery services Mealbay and Sherpas, but since I like to save money, (and those other services are pretty slow), I stick with Ele.me. 

中国的外卖APP真的很了不起。又快又方便又便宜，偶尔也好吃；）。我平时用的是饿了么，中国最大的外卖APP之一。饿了么直接翻译的意思是，“Hungry？” 外国人用的多的外卖平台是Mealbay和Sherpas。但是因为我觉得那两个又贵又慢，所以我平时用饿了么。

Alright, this one looks ok, 宅里厢， literally means, inside the house....but it's also a homophone of, it smells good in the house. Alright, good smelling house restaurant, let's do this!

好吧，这家店看起来还好， 宅里厢。直接翻译的意思是“inside the house。” 但是它也是宅里香的同音。好，香的饭店，我要点吧！

Ok, looks like pretty typical Chinese food, fried cabbage with fatty pork, grandma's tofu (I always wonder who this mythical grandma is), 3 treasures of the earth (it's just green peppers, potato, and eggplant), fried pork strips, etc.

看起来是很正常的中国菜，就是家常菜。手撕包菜，麻婆豆腐 （我老师想知道这个婆是谁的婆。。。）地三鲜，椒盐排条， 等等。

Well, I've chosen! I got grandma's veggies with fried egg (again, just exactly who is the grandma lady?), and "little fried horse bridge dry..." Ok, the literal translations do really do the dishes much justice. To the best of my knowledge, it's some kind of pickled vegetable fried with eggs and firm tofu fried with peppers, scallions, and fatty pork.

选好了！点了外婆菜炒蛋 （我又是想知道这个外婆是谁。。。），还有小马桥干。其实，直接把它翻译到英文是不太好。它就是泡菜炒鸡蛋，另外一个菜就是豆腐炒青椒，葱，五花肉。

And my food has arrived!!!! It's not bad, better than expected! The grandma's fried veggies and eggs is nice and spicy, the pickled vegetable has a nice crunch to it, and the saltiness of the vegetables and spicy peppers compliments the fried egg nicely. The fried tofu dish is good too! A little spicy from the peppers, the tofu is fresh and firm, and the scallions and bits of fatty pork add a nice heartiness to the dish. I give this restaurant 7.8 / 10. Not bad for delivery!!!  

我的菜到了！好不错，比我以为好吃！外婆炒蛋辣辣的菜脆脆的，泡菜的咸味很配炒鸡蛋。小马桥干也很不错，豆腐新鲜的，从和五花肉很香。我给一个 7.8/10 的评价。这个外卖还行！
