I would like to introduce you to some Thai cuisine - "khao man gai." This is authentic Thai cooking right here in Japan. I've been to this restaurant twice now. I like the flavor of the food and have been getting to know the cook / owner. She always has a warm smile when I come in.

วันนี้ขอเสนอเมนูข้าวมันไก่ ซึ่งเป็นเมนูขึ้นชื่อในญี่ปุ่น สำหรับร้านนี้เรามา 2ครั้งแล้ว เพราะติดใจรสชาติมันเป็นแบบไทยจริงๆ และเจ้าของร้านก็ต้อนรับอย่างอบอุ่นเป็นกันเองอีกด้วย

This restaurant is different from most Thai restaurants, as it is in an old style Japanese home. She said nobody's been staying there after her husband's father passed away, so she decided to turn it into a restaurant.

ร้านนี้ต่างจากร้านอื่นๆเพราะอยู่ภายในบ้านสไตล์ญี่ปุ่น เจ้าของร้านบอกว่าจริงๆแล้วเป็นบ้านของพ่อสามี แต่ตั้งแต่ท้านจากไปก็ปล่อยทิ้งเฉย เธอเลยเอามาเปิดเป็นร้านอาหาร ซึ่งเปิดเฉพาะช่วงกลางวันเท่านั้น

Khao Man Gai (ข้าวมันไก่)

Khao Man means oily rice and Gai means chicken. This dish is very popular in Japan. I've tried it at several restaurants, but this restaurant is the best. This set is came with salad, soup, and the main dish, khao man gai served with a spicy Thai sauce.
