Variations in Avocado Mousse

Ingredients:

Chocolate Avocado Mousse

1 cup avocado,peeled
½ cup pitted fresh dates
2 ½ Tbsp cocoa powder or dark chocolate
¼ cup water
1/8 tsp salt
Chopped Nuts for garnish

Banana Avocado Mousse

1 cup avocado,peeled
1.5 Bananas
1/8 tsp salt
Chopped Nuts for garnish

Strawberry Avocado Mousse

1 cup avocado,peeled
1 cup strawberries
1 tbsp Honey
Chopped Nuts for garnish

Process:

Add all ingredients except nuts into a blender. Start blending on slow speed then
increase to high speed. Blend until smooth. Add more water if needed.
Pipe into a serving bowl and refrigerate for 2 hours.
Garnish with chopped nuts.
Serve with or without Whipped cream on top.

Healthy additions/substitutes/other alternatives.

Use caramelized nuts for garnish
Sprinkle some cinnamon if needed.
Using pinch of nutmeg or cloves gives different flavors.
Blending Whipped cream instead of garnishing smooths the texture of the mousse and can be served with fresh cut fruits as a Avocado Fruit pudding.
