How to Make Hot and Sour Soup

I Love Chinese/Asian Food!!!



If there is one thing that is true about me, its that I love Asian food. I can hear all of my Asian friends on here saying we don't make that here lol! So when I say that I love Asian food, of course I mean "Americanized" Asian food lol.

I saw a post where @tangmo was making chicken soup and I said I would have to show how I make my favorite soup: Hot and Sour.

Good Stuff

I can remember being a young boy and being introduced to Hot and Sour soup at a Chinese restaurant by my uncle. I have to say, it was love at first sip! Now I am the first to say that this is an approximation of the real soup. I understand they use many authentic ingredients that are not available out in the boonies where I live. That being said, I think my Hot Sour is a fairly close approximation. Once you get this down, you will be able to satisfy the crave for Hot Sour soup no matter when it hits you, day or night!

    This soup is still quite Chinese but I guess an American making it will become Americanized. :-)

                          Uhmm...Chinese food is my favorite but I have suggestion, you should try Nasi Dading Rendang, it is Indonesian food. You will like it too.
