TWO reporters have gone behind-the-scenes to find out some nifty facts about the McDonald's kitchen — including the real reason why staff have stars on their badges.
Under the leadership of crew trainer Reece Currie, 23, they learned staff earn stars for showing competence in four areas: quality, service, cleanliness and overall excellence.
Staff at the branch are also awarded discounts — but not for food or drinks at McDonald's.
