Food of Pakistan (A combination of South Asia, Central Asia and Middle East)

I have read so many blogs here on food and surprisingly I found nothing about Pakistani or South Asian cuisines, so here I am about to introduce its huge verity which will definitely help you in order to kill your CRAVING if nearly you are visiting Pakistan or surely you may have recipes from Google at your sweet home.

Pakistan is basically situated in the middle of India, China, Iran & Afghanistan (Also Tajikistan which exists behind the thin belt of Afghanistan), so too many regions with their delicious food verities are in surrounding hence Pakistani cuisines are not the same of each part of the country like Northern part has different culture and taste to the South.

Pakistan has been divided into six parts by culturally with different languages so all have some good dishes to be introduced.

Biryani (Chicken / Beef)

It was royal food of the Mughal Emperors and other Rulers of India, It is made with rice, meat and different spices.
Now you can find it everywhere in Pakistan and most parts in India.

Korma (Chicken / Beef)

It is also a dish of Mughals, It is served with Naans / Tandoori Roti

Chicken Tikka

Food of Punjab. BBQ chicken with some Pakistani spices.

The taste of Bihar – India but it is very popular dish in Karachi because of many migrants from that region had been moved to Karachi after partition of British India.

Nalli Nihari with Naan

Very common & popular dish which can easily be your breakfast, lunch or dinner. It is also served with Naan / Tandoori Roti.

Balochi Sajji (Chicken and Mutton)

As the name stated itself its region, this dish belongs to Balochistan region a Mountain belt where most of people cook it with some salt and their spices, believe me it is very tasty.

Anda Chana

The combination of Egg and Chickpeas. Very common in Punjab.

Paya

It is a traditional food of Pakistan and treated to special guests, it is cooked for the whole night.

Beef Pulao

It is also a rice dish but very different to the Biryani, It is cooked with some green spices.

Chapali Kabaab

This food is introduced by Pashtun Belt in Pakistan, it is the mixture of some meat, green spices and traditional spices. It is fried in deep.

Both are also BBQ items but with very different tastes.
