These Little-Peppers know how to get a tasty healthy snack around here!

My favorite part, as their Papa, is that they ask permission first. "Dad, can I please go see if any Golden Raspberries are ready?" "Dad, may I please look for a snack in the woods?" Then, once they have received permission, they bring back whatever they find to show it off and make sure they found something that is actually edible.

This time, it was our oldest son Monster Truck the Pepper, and he found some delicious Blackberries to add in with his Golden Raspberries. Gotta love the free wild food too!

    Nothing like wild berries, they have a sort of extra sweetness compared to the ones you would get in a store!

              Love berry season!

              Our thornless blackberries are ramping up for a bumper crop again this year.

              Unfortunately, Marek accidentally chopped off our single most productive native black raspberry bush, which I've been nurturing, but we've got lots more where that came from, and by this time next year I hope they will be thriving and loaded!
