We'll see how this goes!
After receiving some Bitter Melon seeds from BobMels Gardens, we got right on growing them. Now comes step two, eating them! Tonight will be the first we ever try the Bitter Melon. Here's a handful of photos of our harvest and our prep. We'll have a video out soon to let you know how we liked them. Enjoy the photos for now.

This is very popular in my country! It’s consider a medicinal vegetable! Because it’s very bitter we would dusk the chopped bits in salty water fir a few minutes a d rinse off!
Small pieces like yours would be cooked with a few eggs! It’s called Mara-pad-kai.
Mara is bitter lemon, pad means frying, Kai means eggs!
We also chop the Mara into small tubes and we put seasoned minced pork inside these tubes. Boil water in a pot, add all the salt and pepper, put these stuffed tubes into the pot! Boil till the minced pork is cooked, say 5 minutes! Served with chopped coriander sprinkles! It’s very good to detox the body with excessive Yang energy!
Cheers.

I'm interested to see the video. I have never tried bitter melons. I'm curious what your thoughts were on them. They look so interesting.
