The punchline: a cockroach scuttled out while we were eating.
My friend suggested this restaurant a.k.a. literally a hole in the wall run by local granny. We took off our shoes before entering the room and granny proceeded by heating up her special noodle soup. The noodle dish (국수) arrived at our table, but we were shocked at the one pound of noodle each of us were served.
It tasted just like the usual noodle and soup to a few of us, but the friend who took us there insisted it tasted very homemade and like it was full of love. Okay, bro.
In the middle of our meal, a baby cockroach emerged under the table and bit one friend (he claims he was bitten). What a lovely meal.
Some other noodle dishes
I've found that the soup base used for ramen in Korea isn't very deep or complex. That's just my impression from all the ramen I've eaten so far. If you hear of any authentic tasting or awesome ramen in Korea, let me know!
Happy fooding!

It looks delicious.
The feast noodles(잔치 국수) were eaten at the wedding until about 10 years ago.
