I have always had a sweet tooth. Still love chocolate, cakes and ice cream. The difference now is that I make them in a healthy version which will not let you gain weight and eat as much as you want! Sounds like a dream, doesn't it? The secret is that they don't have extracted fats added. Well, let's make this dream come true. Here I will be sharing with you my favourite dessert recipes. Follow me if you don't want to miss any of them!
This one is super easy. Great for a lazy Sunday afternoon when we are so relaxed that we don't feel like doing anything. Here are the ingredients (serves 2):
3 medium bananas or 2 avocados (or a mixture of both)
2-3 tbls coconut flakes
4 tbls maple syrup (add more for more sweetness)
1-2 tbls raw cacao powder
10 walnut or pecan halves
A handful of dark raisins
First, you need to smash the bananas with a fork. You can also use a blender but I like more the consistency of this dessert when they are smashed. You can use avocados instead for a more rich and dense flavour. I personally prefer the avocado version but didn't have any at the moment. Mixing both is also a very good option. The riper your fruits are the sweeter your dessert will be.
Chop the walnuts or pecans and mix all the ingredients. You can add more or less cacao powder and maple syrup depending on how sweet you like it.
And voilá, it is ready to serve! Wasn't that fast! Enjoy!
