yes, jerry's marketing is not what steem whales want for this platform, he goes too far away from the reality of what steemit is, if you don't have a large amount of crypto to buy your own steem power, you most likely wont last a long time on steemit, being anonymous also plays into longevity as a publisher on steemit.
