Banana-Spinach Smoothie Bowl - Such a healthy way to start your day

There is nothing better than starting your day with a healthy, nutritious and delicious breakfast!

I was very lazy to prepare anything to eat today, so I decided to go out for breakfast. There is a small, cute vegan restaurant close to my apartment here in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. It is called Aloha Raw Bar, I wrote a post about it a couple of days ago. They serve wonderful smoothies, acai bowls, waffles, and more... I'm glad I found them, I'll definitely be a returning guest over there 😃

This is a banana-spinach-spirulina smoothie bowl. Usually they top it with fresh fruits, granola and shredded coconut, but I asked them to substitude the granola and coconut because they are sweetened with refined sugar. It was perfect this way :)

Since I am not such a big fan of smoothie bowls I just put everything my body needs in my smoothie itself :) I drink smoothies every day! :)
