What do you think?

Steemit

In the longer run I can imagine a international cooking book full of delights featuring many authors of many countries with their best pick of what their cuisine has to offer.

A melting pot of international yummy recipes.

Breakfast

Oatmeal in the jar with a banana and cocoa

This first recipe for the morning is a quick one by Olga who is @sinkova at Steemit.
She calls it:

"The lazy, healthy and tasty breakfast which only takes 5 minutes."

At the time of writing she has only received 11 upvotes for her breakfast gatherings. I think she deserves more than that as she offers a true variety of the oatmeal servings: with cherry and chocolate crumbs, with apple and cinnamon, tangerine and orange. Thanks a bunch @sinkova!

Mid Morning Snack

Nutrient powerhouse: Minty Kale

Described by the cooking talent behind this smoothie @amy-goodrich as a

"nutrient powerhouse".

Yes, checking the ingredients - Kale, ginger and spinach - it is clearly a nutrient all-star. At the time of writing this her mighty powerful drink has received 17 upvotes. I think more should come in. Thanks Amy!

Dinner

Japanese dinner: Miso Soup and fried pork with ginger

No, we are diving in into the international cuisine of Steemit blog entries. The Steemian @mun offers plenty of tasty looking Japanese dishes. Here is the one I would like to promote with this article. According to @mun it is a

"common dinner in Japan."

That is no wonder as the Miso soup is supposed to energize and to stimulate digestion. Please share if it becomes a common dinner for you too.

Dessert

Cake with chocolate filling cup

Truly tasty. A class cup cake that can be baked within two minutes was shared by the creative @zivile who says piece of cake are

"a tempting sweet temptation".

How true. I think her piece deserves more votes than the current 12.

Breakfast

Vegan Burrito Breakfast

The second day is heavily influenced by the Mexican cuisine. @healthyeating shared the recipe for this tasty breakfast four weeks ago. It has not received a lot of votings yet. We should change that. She put in a lot of work and added many pictures to guide us step by step through the procedure. Multiple thanks for that!

Lunch

Delicious lunch "Stuffed Peppers"

Luda, @milaoz at Stemmit, is an engineer and she can obviously cook delicious dishes. She is fortunate to able to use home grown peppers for this lunch. But certainly also with peppers from the grocery story this will work out for us.

Mid Afternoon Snack

An Almond Avocado Afternoon

Another drink powerhouse of nutrients with almonds and avocados was shared by @jubilee. Steemians thank you for that @jubilee. How healthy avocados are is something I shared with you this week in an article in which I also highlighted an issue. Please check out: The negative impact of avocado consumption.. So please buy the stone fruit locally is possible. It only received one vote! I hope this article changes that.

Dinner

"Walking Tacos" with Bonus Blanco Sauce

After a burrito in the morning, peppers at lunch and an avocado smoothie in the afternoon this dinner fits just smoothly in. It was posted by talented Britt, @sharingeverybite at Steemit. She is a vegan chef. I would consider her a cooking magician.

She says

"Betcha can't eat just one! ;)"

I say

"Betcha she is right"

Mid Morning Snack

Indian snack: Bhajis

@slayer who says about himself when

"it comes to comfort food such [...] bhajis , I'm the king."

That alone should be enough to try out his recipe of the Indian snack. It is supposed to be a fairly simple recipe. Thanks for sharing this with us @Slayer, king of bhajis!

Lunch

Fire Roasted Corn Chowder with Sriracha

@randyclemens is the author of The Sriracha Cookbook. On Steemit he published this recipe from his book, which was his favourite when I was writing it. He got me in the second line of his article on it with "That orange hue. The creamy texture." It looks fabulous and will soon be on my table. Also this post deserves further upvotes.

Dinner

Royal Moroccan Couscous

Nabil, @nabilov at Steemit, also calls this Moroccan dinner his favorite. It offers huge variety. The recipe of our Moroccan Steemian lists lamb, chicken and cooked spicy sausage.

"Its full of vitamins. In Morocco they usually eat it on Fridays with their family. Enjoy Steemers!" @nabilov

Sounds like delicious Fridays! Many thanks for sharing this dinner with us. A lot of will

Dessert

Smoothie filled Peaches

This very creative smoothie was published on Steemit by @papa-pepper, who battled a Pygmy Rattlesnake after he just finished the drinks he prepared for his blog post. Good for him he had a light dessert and was able to be quick enough. You find more on this story in his article - oh and of course the recipe. Thanks @papa-pepper!
