Have you ever seen how a pineapple grows?
A few years back I actually thought that they were growing under ground with just the leaves of the fruit showing themselves above the surface. 🙈

Luckily we got this little cutie in the rooftop garden of our current accommodation here in Bali, to show you how the magic happens.🍍🍍

I am always excited to see how nature transforms little seeds into a juicy, nutritious and flavorful fruit - the wonder of life! ✨

So if this image is new to you, how did you imagined a pineapple plant?

WOW! how cool) I've never seen how a pineapple grows) its leaves remind me a little leaves of aloe )

I imagined that pineapples like apples hang on a tree))))

So true, it does look a look like aloe!

I think I will still get surprised over and over again with a lot of other fruits - so many different tropical varieties and so much more to explore. ☺️

and I will follow you again and again)))

Aww, thank you so much, Inna! ☺️💚

Haha… believe it or not I used to think pineapple grew on palm trees. I thought they just hung by their butts until they couldn’t hang anymore then would fall to our lovely tables. Haha… wasn’t until someone posted a field of pineapple bushes did I see that they grow way differently than I thought. Love this @rawadventuress… definitely one of my favorite fruits :)

Well, this way it is so much easier to reach them, right? 😁 But I'm sure your pineapple palms would have looked so lovely. 😋

Thank you, I am also a big fan of its sweet flavor! 🍍🍍

Haha… would look lovely until one fell and cracked me on my head… haha.

Side note: I hope you and yours are safe and not affected by the devastation of the tsunami/earthquake.

But you imagined them hanging with the green stuff up, right? Then at least the sharp leaves wouldn't hit your head if they fell onto you. 😁

Thanks for caring so much - we are totally fine. We hear a lot about the devastation in other parts of Indonesia but Bali seems pretty unaffected by that.

Oh good to hear it. It’s crazy because we only get a snippet of a report, here in the US, that is just enough to induce fear. I’m happy all is well on your end- still, I’m keeping Indonesia in my positive thoughts.

Thank you so much for your concerns, that is so sweet! Yes, all the positive energy needs to go to the other part of Indonesia right now, the reports are horrifying to say at least...

🙏
