Chilli eggs
Ingredients :
- 8 chicken eggs, boiled, peeled
- 2 tablespoons of cooking oil, to saute
- 4 cloves of shallots, finely chopped
- 6 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
- 3 candlenut
- 1/2 cm laos
- 1/2 tablespoons salt
- 1/2 tablespoons of granulated sugar / sugar
- 1 bay leaf
- 250 ml coconut milk
- 12 red chilies
- 1/2 tsp terasi, burned for a while
- 1 tablespoon of tamarind water.
How to make :
- How to make chili sauce: Blend all chili seasoning using a screw to make it more delicious (or you can use a blender for practical purposes). Then add tamarind water, stir well.
- Puree the onion, garlic, and candlenut.
- Heat cooking oil to saute the spices, chili sauce, and salt. Be careful not to be too long when sauteing the marinade so it doesn't burn.
- Enter Javanese sugar / sugar, bay leaves, and coconut milk. Mix well for 10 minutes.
- Finally, enter boiled eggs that have been cleaned from the outer skin and the skin, stirring again with the spices until the spices soak evenly into the egg. After cooking, remove and serve immediately. Sprinkle with fried onions on top.
