I just wanted to share some of the food that we got down on this past super bowl weekend. As the years have gone in, it seems that each year the food games get stepped up, and the potluck is always on point, and you'll be sure to be mad stuffed. Our man Baro Baro hosted and the main course was about 20lbs of Fried Chicken 4 different ways (pickle brine, honey sesame glaze, spicy glaze, and straight crispy) and a host of different options from gluten free, to vegan, to artery clogging. The thing that really stuck out to me this year was how internationally diverse all the food was. Check it out.
Here's some of that 20lbs of chicken getting the deep fried treatment
Spicy Wings
Fresh honey from a bee farm in Guadalajara for the honey sesame glaze wings, and then the finished product.
Yooney working on his papaya salad that he is quickly perfecting.
Some gluten free brownies (I was mackin on these!) and some good ass cheese. Then you've got Kelly's special Vietnamese Beef Stew, with fresh baguettes, MY GOODNESS! The meat was so tender and the broth for the dipping of bread was insane. And below, some of the spread we had. Check it out!
It was an awesome Super Bowl and party, with the bombest of bomb foods, made all the better with the company some of the best friends.
