This is my first time cooking chicken-pork adobo. I'm used to just cooking chicken adobo but as per my sibling's demand they want a twist meaning with pork. So here's what I did.
Ingredients:
I bought 1/2 kilo of pork
3/4 kilo chicken (any part is fine)
Black pepper
Laurel leaves
Oil
4 cloves of garlic
3 small onions
Soy sauce
A pinch of sugar
Chili oil/chili powder
And vinegar
First, I maranated the chicken and pork with 2 cups of soy sauce and one cup of vinegar for 30 minutes. I also added some chili oil. Though that's just if you want it spicy. It's optional.
Then dice the onion and garlic and heat the oil in a pan.
Saute until garlic is brown and the onion is semi clear or white.
Then put in the pork and chicken. Saute until pork and chicken soften.
Then pour in the sauce where you marinated the meat. Add 2 pinch of pepper and the laurel leaf.
Let it boil. Add a pinch of sugar if preffered to highten the flavor. And we are done.
Serve and enjoy. Best paired with rice. 😊
