As side dishes you can have rice 🍚, a toasted manioc or maize flour mixture, also sliced oranges 🍊 to help the digestion. Urban legend says it was originally created by the African slaves when Brazil was still a colony using rests of ingredients not used by the masters. Not sure if this is true anyway I guarantee the ones trying it never regret 😎

Looks delicious. I would try it for sure. In fact, I'll look for it on menus now :) Brazilian steakhouses have gotten popular in the US. I will have to look for a more authentic Brazilian restaurant to find freijoada
