Yogurt with Pear and Dark Chocolate Cake

Greetings dear Steemian friends! Hope you’re having a beautiful day and enjoying it. Then you can relax and have a taste of this fruity and chocolatey cake dessert which is beautifully made with a crunchy pear fruit and bittersweet dark chocolate.

What a way to enjoy and relax on a day that is lovely as you want it to be with this dessert. Happy relaxing and enjoy savoring a crunchy and sweet dessert from my kitchen to yours. Bon Appetite!

Ingredients:

1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. Greek yogurt, plain
1 c. sugar
3 large eggs
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 large pear, cut into bite pieces
1/2 c. bittersweet dark chocolate chunks
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp salt

Steps and Procedures:

Preheat oven to 350F degrees. Spray or grease a 9”x5” loaf pan with spray made with flour, if using non-stick pan.

In a small bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.

In a large bowl, whisk together sugar, yogurt, eggs, and vanilla until smooth. Add the flour mixture just a little at a time until thoroughly combined.

Then use a rubber spatula to fold the oil into the batter until fully incorporated.

Pour 1/3 of the batter into the pan. Sprinkle 2/3 of the pear pieces and chocolate chunks.

Pour the rest of the batter on top and gently spread it smooth. Sprinkle the rest of the pear pieces and chocolate chunks.

Bake for 55-60 minutes or until a wooden stick inserted comes out clean.

Allow the cake to cool for 10-15 minutes.

Invert and transfer to a cake platter. Serve. Enjoy!
