HAVE YOU EVER EATEN "CIGKOFTE"?

Hi, Today I will introduce you "Cigkofte" . "Cigkofte" is traditional food in Şanlıurfa/Turkey. 

Cigkofte was first made by local people of Şanlıurfa.  All Turkish people love it. Its taste is very good, and you should drink "Ayran" with it.

Materials (for 4 people)

  • Half a kilogram of Bulgur(kind of rice) 
  • 3 tablespoons tomato slices
  • 4 tablespoons pepper paste
  • salt
  • scaly pepper
  • "Isot" (traditional chili pepper)
  • finely chopped onion
  • parsley
  • Eggs


How can you make "Cigkofte"?

You must use the special tray when you are making cigkofte

And put your materials in the tray. (Bulgur,tomato and pepper paste, finely chopped onion)


First,  you should knead(by your hands) Bulgur,tomato and pepper paste, finely chopped onion.


Then, when the mixture is dry you should wet it water.


Next,  you should knead 20-25 minutes the mixture.


When the mixture is sticky you're done! You should put parsley in your mixture and you should knead slowly.

Finally, you must put your "fried eggs in oil"  carefully in your mixture then knead slowly. (do not burn your hands  )


Now, you can serve your food by putting it on plates :)
