Halohalo is one of my favorite Filipino dessert. It is very popular especially during summer. It is a mixture of shaved ice and evaporated milk to which other various ingredients like boiled sweet beans,sugar palm fruit or kaong, coconut sport or macapuno, sago , gulaman, sweet potato, langka, and other fruits. This is then sprinkled with sugar and top with leche flan, purple yam, or ice cream. Ingredients can vary widely but halohalo is usually serve in tall glass or bowl.
