I can't believe that after 43 years of eating maple bars, that this chocolate bar is my favorite donut.
This tiny little donut shop on the north side of Visalia called Scotty's Donuts makes the best donuts in town, and the chocolate bar is the best donut.
Scotty's has a small drive-thru and it always has a few cars in line. During the school year, a line down the street is not uncommon.
It was over 90 degrees outside this morning and a dozen men were sitting on outside furniture in front of Scotty's. I'm assuming they put crack cocaine in their donuts and coffee, because it's the most popular donut shop in town.
I never thought that I would forsake the maple bar, but Scotty's chocolate bar is so delicious, and I don't have the words to describe it.

I found the chocolate bar by accident. @luvbnamome brought home a maple bar for me and a chocolate bar to try over two years ago, and I will never not order the chocolate bar. Chocolate bar is amazing and the maple is just good.

Their place looks ordinary nothing fancy but seems like they have high quality product. I really like places like this, in my city, the best cafe has limited seats and one air conditioning but they have the best coffee in the town.
