What is Kuah Pliek U?
Kuah Pliek U is a traditional food aceh kind of cuisine bersantan. This one food at a glance almost similar to the curry is just the contents of vegetables and broth made of special ingredients. Kuah Pliek U is one of the most famous traditional food in Aceh, especially in the east coast of Aceh. In addition to daily consumption, Kuah Pliek U also often served on certain occasions and become one of the special menu favored by the citizens there.
The Origin of Kuah Pliek U
Since long Kuah Pliek U has been a favorite food of the people of Aceh since time immemorial. Kuah Pliek U name taken from one of the basic spices in making this food is "Pliek U" or better known as Patarana. Pliek u is the coconut's remaining oil that has been squeezed. In the rural community of Aceh, coconut oil is usually used as cooking oil called "Minyeuk Reutik". While the rest or dregs dried and made pliek u. Pliek u then use the community as the basic ingredients of Kuah Pliek U.
Processing And Presentation of Pliek Sauce U

HOW TO MAKE A RECIPE OF PLAF U ACEH
1. Gongseng pliek u with low heat until the smell is fragrant.
2. Add 1 cup water after boiling filtered (dispose of water).
3. Blender pliek u that has been sliced and boiled until smooth.
4. Boil melinjo fruit and young jackfruit that has been cut into small until tender then lifted then dispose of boiled water
