Hello my dear Steemians. For today I want to share a wonderful recipe for all lovers of "Chocolate", and it is perfect to consume in those moments where we attack the anxiety of eating a sweet. To me it particularly always causes me to eat "Chocolate" that's why I wanted to incorporate it doubly into these rich homemade "Donuts".
As many of us know, donuts are a type of dessert made from wheat flour, baking powder and baking powder and egg. It is a fairly simple recipe but it lends itself to many variations in terms of the tastes of the diners. In this case we will use the so beneficial "Cocoa" as the main ingredient or flavor, since we will incorporate it both in the donut dough and in the cover that will be applied, and will be given a final touch of nuts they.
You will see that it is a recipe that is super easy to prepare, you just have to follow these simple steps:
Ingredients:
• 200 grams of wheat flour.
• 50 grams of cocoa powder.
• ½ teaspoon of baking powder.
• ½ teaspoon of baking soda.
• 1 pinch of salt.
• 1 pinch of cinnamon.
• 80 grams of sugar.
• 45 grams of butter.
• 150 grams of bitter chocolate.
• 1 egg.
• 50 grams of yogurt.
• 1 egg yolk.
• 1 spoon of vanilla.
• ½ cup of chopped walnut.
• 2 cups of oil.
Preparation process:
• When all the components of the donuts have been assembled, we begin to mix the dry ingredients (flour, cocoa, cinnamon powder, bicarbonate, yeast and pinch of salt) in a large container.
• On the other hand in a pot over low heat, dissolve 50 grams of chocolate, 25 grams of butter, yogurt and sugar.
• When everything has been dissolved, remove it from the heat and add the vanilla spoonful. Once the mixture is cold, one egg is added to the yolk of another.
• Then dry and sifted ingredients are added to the chocolate mixture.
• And it is beating with a palette until achieving all the ingredients and thus obtain a dough that is continued kneading with your hands.
• Sprinkle some wheat flour on a flat surface and begin to stretch the dough with a rolling pin. Then with the help of cookie molds or simply with the edge a glass begins to cut the dough into circles.
• The same is done in the center using a much smaller mold or a plastic lid. The leftover dough is used to prepare more donuts.
• In a frying pan with hot oil, start to fry the donuts on both sides without letting them burn.
• When all the donuts are fried, they are left to drain to eliminate the excess oil, and in the meantime you start to prepare the chocolate coating.
• For that, what is left of the chocolate with 20 grams of butter melted in a bath of María without stopping to beat.
• When all the chocolate is melted, all the donuts are submerged halfway, and when they are removed they shake a bit to avoid excesses and smooth the cover.
• Then they are placed on a grid to cool down. And they sprinkle chopped nuts to taste. (You can also use sparkle of chocolates, or colors, peanuts, or other nuts).
• And you can enjoy and share these delicious double chocolate donuts, accompanied by your favorite drink.
No doubt that this recipe is the perfect combination to share between family and friends. And the best thing is that they can be creative when preparing them according to their favorite version. I hope they do not stay with the craving and can enjoy them. Greetings.
