I enjoy eating this fruit either like in your photo or soft or very ripe, it's very very sweet.

They are actually ripe when they become very soft, but most of them need to be picked and stored somewhere early before ripening. It's a funny thing when you suddenly have loads of them very soft and need to eat it up before they perish. Happily, I'm the main consumer "around" when it comes to eating them up (some people do not like them at all, they say it's because of their texture ).
