Yesterday I went out to have some Korean food with Korean friends that live in Heidelberg.
The Restaurant we went to is called Soban (소반) and well known among the Koreans living here. Espacially their stews like Kimchi Stew (김치찌개) and Soy Bean Paste Stew (된장찌개) are know to be very authentic.
However, I decided to eat something different: spicy simmered pork ribs (매운 갈비찜)
To be honest, it wasn't that spicy for my palate but very tasty. The meat fell off the bone so easily! :o
We also ordered spicy rice cakes (떡볶이) to eat alongside our main dishes.
I can only recommend this restaurant and hope you didn't get too hungry now!
Best,
Marc~
